Press conference, for Kuwait International Table Tennis Championship 15/2/2010
The Organizing Committee for the Kuwait International Table Tennis championship (Salwa Cup) The press conference will be held at the Palm in the presence of Chairman of the Committee, Sheikh Talal Al-Fahad and Deputy Chairman ,Mohammed Al Matook and tournament director Fahd Al-Ajmi , The tournament will be held from 23 to 27th Feb 2010 ,More Than 220 players representing 38 countries will participate in this Tournament. The conference will reveal the final preparations for this tournament , since Salwa Cup is the second largest international tournaments in World Wide . Al-Ajmi said: All the committees have work hard for this championship , Al-Ajmi thanked all members of working committees in the tournament for their great efforts they are making day and night for this tournament , He also thanks the committee for the opening ceremony which will be on 23 Feb , he thanked the media for their efforts in highlighting this significant event . Abdulwahab Al-Kandari said (10 Local Empires ) and (27 international Empires ) will take part for the start of competitions, and added that the number will reach 30 international Empires , He also said : more than 220 players will take part in this championship from 38 countries . Abdul wahab Al-Kandari said , Table tennis halls is at the highest international standards, modern equipment ,lighting and flooring. The hall will have 6 International tables including regular and high-quality crystal tables, The practice hall will be equiped with 12 table to facilitate the players during training and to allow the largest possible number of players. Al-Kandari said that all members and the committee have worked very hard to complete all needs to make this tournament a great success.
